Job summary

V Group Inc. is recruiting an Azure Cloud Engineer to join the Virginia Tolling IT team on a contract basis. The role covers cloud operations, engineering, and support, including API gateways, AVD, App Insights, and Office 365.

You will work under Virginia government policies for security and governance. The engineer will implement fault-tolerant Azure solutions, manage IAM and key vaults, and participate in incident reviews and documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience with Microsoft Azure services.
• 3+ years supporting tolling applications and cloud workloads, with hands-on diagnostic work.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and implement cloud resources in the Azure Tolling environment.
• Ensure security, IAM, network controls, and cost governance per policy.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Azure services and workloads for uptime.
• Assist with access reviews, change requests, and documentation.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to leverage Azure services.
