Job summary

BranCore Technologies, LLC is seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer to join the Eng and Ops team for a tolling project in the Richmond, VA area. The role involves cloud operations, engineering, and rotational help-desk support within the Tolling group, including API Gateways, AVD, App Insights, and Office 365.

Responsibilities include maintaining Azure resources, ensuring policy compliance, documenting infrastructure, IAM assistance, and implementing fault-tolerant Azure solutions across the Tolling

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience with Microsoft Azure services.
• Minimum 3 years experience supporting state or federal Department of Transportation E-ZPass Virginia tolling infrastructure and cloud workloads.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Windows environments.
• Experience with Office 365 services and SSO (Entra ID).
• Experience with Secret Server privileged access vaults.

Responsibilities

• Cloud Operations and Engineering across the Tolling Azure environment.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Azure services to ensure uptime and performance.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation, naming conventions, and tagging standards.
• Assist with IAM role assignments and least-privilege evaluations.
• Manage vendor updates and ensure compatibility of Azure workloads.
• Implement fault-tolerant and highly available Azure solutions.
