Job summary

RoarTech inc is seeking a Systems Engineer – Azure to join a federal-focused cloud environment in Washington, DC. The role emphasizes secure, scalable Azure solutions with alignment to FedRAMP, NIST, and DoD frameworks.

Onsite 5 days a week, the contractor will implement and manage cloud infrastructure, automation, and security controls. The position requires 5+ years in Azure-focused cloud engineering, with Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, and CI/CD experience.

Qualifications

• Azure-focused cloud engineering with 5+ years of experience.
• AZ-104 or equivalent Azure certification preferred.
• Knowledge of FedRAMP, NIST, RMF and DoD frameworks.
• Experience automating with Terraform, Ansible and PowerShell.
• Networking: VNets, NSGs, ExpressRoute and hybrid connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain core Azure services (VMs, VNets, Storage, AAD).
• Automate deployments using IaC tools (Terraform, ARM templates, Ansible).
• Implement RBAC, IAM policies, NSGs, Key Vault, Azure Policy for compliance.
• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins.
• Monitor with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights for performance.
