Job summary

World Wide Technology seeks an Azure Cloud Engineer to support government services, building scalable cloud infrastructure with DevSecOps practices. The role requires active Secret clearance and on-site work in Washington, DC. Strong experience with Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, and Azure security is essential.

The candidate will design, deploy, and secure cloud environments, while collaborating with engineering and security teams to meet federal compliance. Visa sponsorship or C2C is not offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Azure Cloud Engineering experience.
• 3+ years of CI/CD pipelines experience.
• 3+ years of Terraform for IaC and GitLab CI/CD experience.
• Strong understanding of federal cloud security frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure (VMs, VNets, Storage, Azure AD, PaaS).
• Manage and optimize Azure networking (VNets, NSGs, Load Balancers, ExpressRoute).
• Develop and maintain Terraform templates as primary IaC tool.
• Support automation via PowerShell, Bash, YAML/JSON, and GitLab pipelines.
• Deploy and manage Azure Virtual Desktop environments.
• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines in GitLab.
• Implement secure cloud practices per FedRAMP/NIST RMF.
