Job summary

World Wildlife Fund is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to own and secure WWF's Azure infrastructure, including subscriptions, resources, and VM provisioning. You’ll implement Entra ID, SSO, and RBAC, automate with PowerShell and Graph API, and design robust backup and disaster recovery strategies.

You'll collaborate across global teams to keep critical systems online, support multi-cloud workflows, and lead projects from conception to completion—with occasional after-hours for critical outages.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT or related field.
• Verbal and written fluency in English and Spanish.
• Experience managing large-scale enterprise IT systems.
• Extensive hands-on experience managing Azure production systems.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, cloud architecture, networking, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Windows and Linux servers.
• Proficiency with PowerShell and Graph API for Azure management and automation.
• Experience integrating M365 Copilot and related tools.
• Experience building and managing Azure VMs from inception.

Responsibilities

• Own the Azure infrastructure, provisioning resources and VMs.
• Configure Entra ID, SSO, RBAC and security policies.
• Design backup strategies and DR playbooks.
• Troubleshoot networking across VNETs, sites, and tenants.
• Lead end-to-end projects and communicate with stakeholders.
• Occasional after-hours or weekend support for outages or maintenance.
