Job summary

WTW is seeking an IT Operations Engineer to support day-to-day operations across our Microsoft Azure cloud environment. The role focuses on monitoring, routine administration, access management, troubleshooting, and automation of repetitive tasks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in IT operations or cloud operations.
• Experience with Windows and Linux administration.
• Practical experience using Terraform, Git, and IaC workflows.
• Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.

Responsibilities

• Monitor infrastructure and respond to operational alerts and requests.
• Investigate incidents using runbooks, dashboards, logs, and diagnostic procedures.
• Perform remediation such as restarting services, validating configurations, and recovery procedures.
• Gather diagnostics and escalate complex issues to the appropriate domain team.
• Support day-to-day Azure, Windows, Linux, VM, storage, SFTP, certificate, secret, and backup operations.
• Automate tasks using Terraform/Ansible/Power Automate and other tools.
• Manage access via Microsoft Entra ID, Azure RBAC, and PIM.
• Use approved Terraform modules for infrastructure changes.
• Write/maintain scripts to automate repetitive tasks.
• Support monitoring, patching, backup validation, and compliance activities.
• Maintain tickets, runbooks, and operational documentation.
• Collaborate with DevOps and other teams to improve processes.
