Job summary

World Wildlife Fund (WWF) seeks a Senior Cloud Engineer to own and architect WWF's Azure infrastructure, provisioning resources and virtual machines for production and staging environments. You will ensure secure identities with Entra ID and robust disaster recovery strategies, while automating repetitive tasks with PowerShell and Graph API.

You will collaborate with global teams, lead projects end-to-end, and adapt to after-hours maintenance as needed to maintain uptime across WWFs cloud

Qualifications

• Degree in IT or related field and minimum of 8 years IT experience.
• Fluency in English and Spanish, verbal and written.
• Experience managing large-scale enterprise IT systems.
• Hands-on experience managing highly available Azure production systems.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, cloud architecture, and Windows/Linux servers.

Responsibilities

• Own Our Azure Infrastructure and architect Azure environment, provisioning resources and VMs in production and staging.
• Configure Microsoft Entra tenants and manage SSO, RBAC, and user groups.
• Design backup strategies and disaster recovery playbooks that work in outages.
• Troubleshoot networking across VNETs, sites, and tenants; manage firewalls and DNS.
