Job summary

IT Resources is seeking a senior cloud engineer to design, deploy, and manage scalable Azure and AWS infrastructure. You will use Terraform and automation to build reusable modules and improve CI/CD pipelines, while enforcing security and governance across environments.

Responsibilities include implementing landing zones, identity governance, and Defender for Cloud, and supporting containerized and AI workloads. A rotating on-call schedule and cross-team collaboration are part of the role.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT infrastructure experience.
• 5+ years building, deploying, and managing IaaS and PaaS in Azure and/or AWS.
• 4+ years hands-on Terraform experience with modules, state, and CI/CD pipelines.
• 2+ years Kubernetes and containerized workloads experience; strong networking knowledge.
• Hands-on cloud security and governance experience; scripting/automation; Linux and Windows Server administration.
• Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or equivalent cloud certification.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable Azure cloud infrastructure using Terraform and automation.
• Build reusable infrastructure-as-code modules and improve CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments.
• Implement cloud security and governance controls, including landing zones, identity governance, secrets management, and Defender for Cloud.
• Develop and support cloud infrastructure for containerized and AI workloads.
• Collaborate with owners, architects, and infra teams to meet security and engineering standards.
• Monitor environments to identify risks, gaps, and optimization opportunities.
• Participate in peer reviews and rotating on-call maintenance.
