Monks is seeking a Cloud Azure Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain security solutions for client cloud assets in Microsoft Azure. You will work on identity, access management, policy enforcement, and threat prevention within a fast-paced consulting environment.

The role requires hands-on Azure security expertise, Entra ID, PIM, and security orchestration with Terraform, GitHub Actions, and containers. Excellent communication and independent work skills are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in cloud security engineering with Azure focus.
• Hands-on experience with Entra ID and cloud IAM.
• Experience with Entra ID Conditional Access policies including MFA and least privilege.
• Experience with Entra ID PIM, access reviews, governance and privileged access controls.
• Experience with application authentication/authorization (SAML, OAuth2, OpenID).
• Experience with Terraform, GitHub Actions, and containers.
• Knowledge of Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Azure Firewall, Entra ID, Azure Policy, Key Vault, NSGs.
• Scripting in PowerShell, Python or Azure CLI.
• Strong knowledge of network security, encryption, and Zero Trust.
• Familiarity with security policy implementation in Azure environments for compliance.
• Experience with cloud posture and vulnerability management tools (Wiz, Defender for Cloud).
• Certifications: AZ-500, SC-300, CCSP or similar.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assess security posture of Azure cloud environments to identify vulnerabilities and gaps.
• Develop and maintain security control policies aligned with standards and regulations.
• Translate business requirements into actionable security controls and policies.
• Conduct regular security audits and assessments.
• Provide guidance to engineering on implementing security best practices.
• Design and implement security solutions across infrastructure, network, identity, and IAM.
• Support enforcement of security and compliance controls in Azure.
• Investigate and remediate findings and misconfigurations.
• Stay updated on threats and adapt policies accordingly.
• Participate in incident response and investigations as needed.
