Job summary

Sela is seeking an Account Executive based in New York City to own Azure-focused cloud sales, drive net-new business, and expand existing accounts. You will partner with Microsoft field teams at NYC offices to scope and sell cloud migration, modernization, data, and AI workloads while collaborating with Sela’s technical team on compelling proposals and engagements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of B2B technology sales experience, with at least 2 years selling cloud professional services or infrastructure solutions.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota in a consultative, solution-selling environment.
• Primary experience and fluency with Microsoft Azure: understand platform and partner motions.
• Strong executive-level communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle for cloud professional services engagements (migration, modernization, DevOps, data, and AI/ML workloads) from prospecting through close.
• Build and maintain deep relationships with Microsoft’s field sales teams at NYC offices, acting as a trusted co-sell partner.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities with startup and mid-market clients across cloud migration, modernization, and managed services.
• Collaborate with Sela's architects and engineers to scope solutions, develop proposals, and support technical discovery.
• Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts, identifying expansion opportunities across new service lines.
• Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting in CRM tools.
• Represent Sela at Microsoft and cloud industry events in the NYC market.
• Bring market and customer insights back to the team to help shape offerings and go-to-market strategy, particularly around AI and cloud-native workloads.
