Job summary

System One in Knoxville, TN (also opportunities in Columbia SC, Lafayette LA and Birmingham AL) seeks an AWS Application Production Support Engineer to monitor AWS-hosted applications, respond to production alerts, and coordinate incident resolution.

You will triage incidents, analyze logs, support RDS and Redshift, run AutoSys jobs, and collaborate across DevOps and support teams in a fast-paced 24x7 setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of application or production support experience in an enterprise environment.
• Experience with AWS monitoring, logs, and console navigation.
• Experience with incident management platforms (ServiceNow or similar).
• Ability to investigate issues with documented procedures and escalate when needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor AWS hosted applications and respond to production alerts and incidents.
• Triage incidents using AWS consoles, logs, and monitoring tools.
• Investigate failures across AWS services, databases, and scheduled jobs.
• Support RDS and Redshift and troubleshoot database issues.
• Run and troubleshoot AutoSys jobs and CI/CD pipelines.
• Document and communicate incident findings; escalate to SMEs as needed.
• Create and update incidents and service requests in ServiceNow.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, AWS, database and business teams.
