Job summary

System One is seeking an AWS Production Support Engineer in Knoxville, TN for a contract-to-hire role. You will provide monitoring and production support for AWS hosted applications and infrastructure, manage incidents, and execute runbooks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on AWS production support.
• Strong incident triage and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Splunk and CloudWatch.
• Experience supporting 24x7 production environments.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ticketing.

Responsibilities

• Provide monitoring and production support for AWS hosted applications and infrastructure.
• Respond to production incidents and perform technical triage.
• Review Splunk logs and CloudWatch metrics to identify issues.
• Coordinate with support and engineering teams on incidents.
• Follow runbooks and knowledge articles to resolve issues.
• Support deployments and platform upgrades during changes.
• Work night shift coverage as required.
