Job summary

System One is seeking an AWS Application Production Support Engineer to monitor and respond to production alerts across AWS hosted applications in Knoxville, TN, with possible locations in Columbia SC, Lafayette LA or Birmingham AL.

The role requires hands-on AWS production support experience, incident triage skills, and experience with RDS/Redshift, AutoSys, and CI/CD pipelines. Strong communication and cross-team coordination are essential in a fast-paced 24x7 environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of application or production support in an enterprise environment.
• Strong hands-on AWS production support experience and log analysis.
• Experience with RDS and Redshift, and with AutoSys or similar job scheduling.
• Familiar with DevOps/CI-CD processes and incident management.
• Experience using ServiceNow or similar ticketing platforms.
• Ability to investigate issues independently and document findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Monitor AWS hosted applications and respond to production alerts and incidents.
• Perform incident triage using AWS consoles, logs, and documentation.
• Investigate failures across AWS services, databases, and scheduled jobs.
• Support RDS and Redshift and troubleshoot database related issues.
• Run and troubleshoot existing AutoSys jobs and pipelines.
• Identify root causes and escalate to SMEs with clear diagnostics.
• Create, update, and track incidents in ServiceNow.
• Coordinate with development, infrastructure, AWS, and business teams.
• Enhance knowledge articles and automate repetitive tasks.
