Job summary

System One is seeking an AWS Application Production Support Engineer to monitor and maintain AWS-hosted applications across multiple U.S. locations.

The role requires strong incident triage, log analysis, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, 24x7 environment. The candidate should have 5+ years in production support, experience with Amazon RDS/Redshift, AutoSys scheduling, and familiarity with DevOps/CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field required.
• Minimum 5 years in application or production support in enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on AWS production support experience.
• Experience with RDS and Redshift.
• Experience with AutoSys or similar job scheduling.
• Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficient in log analysis and incident management.
• Experience with ServiceNow or equivalent systems.
• Ability to work in a time-sensitive 24x7 production environment.
• Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Monitor AWS hosted applications and respond to production alerts and incidents.
• Perform incident triage using AWS consoles, logs, and docs.
• Investigate failures across AWS services, databases, and jobs.
• Support RDS and Redshift and troubleshoot DB issues.
• Run and troubleshoot AutoSys jobs and schedules.
• Monitor CI/CD pipelines and operational processes.
• Escalate complex incidents with diagnostics to SMEs.
• Create and track incidents in ServiceNow.
• Identify recurring manual activities and opportunities for automation.
• Coordinate with development, infra, AWS, and business teams.
• Maintain and improve knowledge articles.
