The role emphasizes compliance with NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, RMF, and DoD IL requirements, across AWS GovCloud, Azure, and multi-cloud setups. You will lead IAM, ZTA, and security tooling, and collaborate with DevSecOps on secure CI/CD and IaC. Ideal candidates have 5–9+ years in cloud security, U.S.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen required for eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Computer Science, or 5+ years equivalent experience.
• 5–9+ years of cloud security engineering with hands-on work in AWS GovCloud, Azure, Google GCP, or multi-cloud environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills in fast-paced, mission-critical environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure cloud architectures across AWS GovCloud, Azure, and Google Cloud with least privilege, encryption, and network segmentation.
• Maintain compliance with NIST 800-53 Rev. 5, FedRAMP, DoD IL-2/4/5, RMF, and SCCA requirements.
• Configure IAM/RBAC, Just-In-Time access, KMS/Key Vaults, and Zero Trust across cloud environments.
• Deploy security tools (Defender for Cloud, Azure Sentinel, AWS GovCloud services, CSPM/CWPP, Elastic SIEM) for detection and response.
• Perform vulnerability assessments, pentest simulations, and configuration reviews against STIGs and CIS benchmarks.
• Develop SSP, SAR, POA&M, and risk/compliance reporting for cloud operations.
• Identify IoCs, threat intel, and security incidents; conduct root-cause analysis and preventive controls.
• Collaborate with DevSecOps to secure CI/CD pipelines and IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Monitor and audit cloud environments for ongoing compliance and threat mitigation.
• Provide security guidance to engineering teams on secure design patterns and best practices.
• Be on-site in Playa Vista, CA, five days a week.
