Job summary

Honda Motor Co., Ltd. is seeking a Software & System Design Engineer I to support, maintain, and enhance applications for testing and performance verification across automotive and powersport products.

The role combines full-stack development with AWS cloud infrastructure, collaborating with IT and engineering teams to ensure scalable, secure test systems. The ideal candidate has 0–2 years of experience in application development, with knowledge of Python, C#, Java, JavaScript, and AWS services,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a software/engineering field or related discipline.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience in application development, support, or software delivery.
• Experience with one or more programming languages such as Python, C#, .NET, or .NET Core.
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle).
• Familiarity with tools like Visual Studio, Git, and SQL Server Management Studio.
• Exposure to AWS cloud infrastructure and services (EC2, S3, IAM).
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day application support, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
• Maintain system functionality and document processes, workflows, and procedures.
• Develop full-stack applications across front-end, back-end, APIs, and databases, and support integration with enterprise systems.
• Assist with AWS infrastructure provisioning and automation using IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
