Job summary

Drivemode, a California-based division of Honda, is seeking a hands-on Full Stack Software Engineer to build cloud and application services powering Honda and Acura connected experiences. You’ll develop internal tools and engineering platforms across AWS and Google Cloud Platform to enable developers and QA to build, test, deploy, and validate software.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience developing full-stack applications and internal engineering tools.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and working with SQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain full-stack internal tools that improve developer and QA productivity.
• Develop web applications, backend services, and APIs using React, JavaScript, Python, and/or Node.js.
• Build cloud-based tools and automation across AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
• Integrate tools with cloud services, databases, APIs, and source control systems.
• Partner with developers and QA engineers to understand workflows, solve problems, and improve engineering processes.
• Troubleshoot issues across the application, backend, and cloud infrastructure stack.
• Prototype and evaluate new technologies that improve development and testing workflows.
