Job summary

UltraViolet Cyber, a leading security operations platform, is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and optimize cloud-based security applications for Federal and commercial clients in the Washington DC area.

You will evaluate cloud technologies, run PoCs, collaborate across teams, and help ensure secure, scalable deployments with AWS and Azure, in a hybrid schedule requiring one day per week in Arlington.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting Cloud Environments with a bachelor's degree or 7 years of experience without a degree.
• At least 3 years of experience with AWS IaaS/PaaS/SaaS, minimum of 3 years of experience supporting AWS and/or Azure.
• AWS Certifications.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, optimize, and troubleshoot AWS Cloud Solutions.
• Assist in evaluating various cloud technologies, PoCs, and ensure proper solutions are selected.
• Communicate with technical and non-technical audiences effectively.
• Integrate with other cloud providers including AWS and Azure.
• Anticipate customer requirements and build strategic plans.
• Experience with infrastructure management and system administration in Windows and UNIX environments.
• Understand system security concepts and mitigation strategies such as POAMs and vulnerabilities.
