Job summary

Connsci seeks an AWS Cloud Engineer to support the Office of Data Analytics (ODA) for a federal customer. The role covers cloud modernization, systems administration, automation, cybersecurity, and enterprise operations in a hybrid AWS GovCloud (US) and on-premises environment.

You will build and secure cloud resources, design scalable infrastructure, manage domain services, and automate routine tasks while maintaining compliance and secure operations.

Qualifications

• BS degree in a related field from a DOE-accredited university.
• At least 3 years of AWS cloud experience and cloud infrastructure skills.
• 3+ years with Active Directory and Windows Server.
• Current security and AWS certifications required.
• Active security clearance (Top Secret, DOE Q, or DOD equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Build, secure, deploy, and administer cloud resources for a hybrid AWS GovCloud and on-prem environment.
• Design scalable infrastructure and plan deployments to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Configure network security, firewall rules, and hybrid connectivity.
• Develop automation scripts and CI/CD pipelines for deployment tasks.
• Monitor security posture, conduct vulnerability remediation, and document controls.
