Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 8+ years as Data Engineer or similar role.
• Hands-on SQL and Python is required.
• Experience with AWS, Snowflake, and data warehousing is essential.
• CMS enterprise repositories like IDR knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and document business rules.
• Analyze data and present insights to stakeholders.
• Build data access and semantic layers for data products using Medicare/Medicaid data.
• Develop and optimize data models for analytics, reporting, and operations.
• Implement data quality, validation, and monitoring frameworks.
• Design scalable, cloud-based ETL/ELT pipelines on AWS and Snowflake.
• Maintain modular, version-controlled data workflows in an Agile delivery environment.
