Job summary

Connsci is seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer to provide support for a federal customer. You will manage hybrid cloud resources in Microsoft Azure Government Cloud and M365 in GCC High tenants, ensuring secure, scalable operations across VMs, storage, and networks.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, automation scripting, cost optimization, and governance documentation. The role requires onsite ramp-up followed by predominantly remote work with periodic on-site meetings in Washington, DC.

Qualifications

• 3+ years cloud engineering experience with AD and Microsoft Azure.
• Current CompTIA Security+ or Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator certification.
• BS degree from a US-education accredited university; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, triage, and assist users with hybrid network infrastructure across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Build, configure, secure, and administer cloud resources for VMs, storage, and networks.
• Design scalable IT infrastructure and optimize cloud costs.
• Devise and implement technical solutions to meet changing requirements.
• Create automation scripts and CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments.
• Monitor cloud consumption and improve performance and security.
• Maintain documentation on network and system design and governance.
