Job summary

Connsci is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer to support the Office of Data Analytics with a hybrid cloud environment spanning AWS GovCloud (US) and on-premises infrastructure. The role involves engineering, administration, and operational duties to modernize, automate, and secure cloud platforms while ensuring reliable, scalable computing for government-related workloads.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in AWS cloud engineering, strong Active Directory experience, and familiarity with Windows

Qualifications

3+ years aws cloud engineering experience with AWS infrastructure.
3+ years with Active Directory.
1+ year Windows Server experience.
Current CompTIA Security+ and AWS Practitioner certification or equivalent.
Public trust or similar clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide engineering, administration and operational support for hybrid cloud environments.
Build, secure, deploy and manage cloud resources across on-prem and AWS GovCloud.
Automate tasks with PowerShell/Bash and CI/CD pipelines.
Monitor cloud consumption, optimize costs and security posture.
Maintain system documentation and governance artifacts.
