Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc. seeks an experienced Cloud Architect (AWS) to lead cloud-native modernization and solution design for an automated modeling platform on AWS.

You will craft scalable model execution environments, data integration and Ignite orchestrations with infrastructure as code. You will guide end-to-end architecture decisions, collaborate with clients and partner teams, and mentor junior consultants in cloud-native patterns.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of AWS-based solution architecture and modernization experience.
• Ownership of end-to-end design decisions in modernization workstream.
• Client-facing collaboration to align requirements with client leads.
• Strong AWS compute, orchestration, analytics skills.
• Infrastructure as code skills for repeatable environments.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end solution architecture decisions for modernization workstream.
• Design cloud-based model execution environments on EC2 with orchestration frameworks.
• Implement parallel execution using AWS Batch with EC2 Auto Scaling Groups.
• Build automated workflow orchestration with AWS Step Functions for triggering and scenario generation.
• Design data integration pipelines from Amazon Redshift to ISV simulation software.
• Develop integration interfaces and APIs to connect simulation tooling with the data platform.
• Establish performance measurement and optimization frameworks for model execution.
• Modernize legacy modeling workflows to use cloud-native scaling and automation.
• Align integration requirements with client leads and partner teams through documentation.
• Mentor associates on modernization patterns and cloud-native practices.
