Job summary

IgniteIT is seeking a senior AWS-certified Systems Architect to lead complex modernization across legacy refactoring, data pipelines, and system-of-systems integration. The role demands architectural leadership, secure and compliant target-state design, and governance across multiple teams.

The Architect will drive migration sequencing, embed DevSecOps, and ensure scalable, observable architectures with formal documentation and ADRs.

Qualifications

Senior AWS-certified Systems Architect with federal modernization experience.
Ability to lead architecture across multiple delivery teams and workstreams.
Experience applying the 7 Rs migration framework in complex environments.
Deep understanding of secure, compliant cloud architectures and governance.

Responsibilities

Provide system-of-systems architecture leadership across interdependent applications and data pipelines.
Define target-state architectures for presentation, application, data, and integration layers.
Govern transformation programs including legacy refactoring and cloud-native modernization.
Produce architecture artifacts: ADRs, ICDs, deployment views, and governance documentation.
Lead architecture reviews and embed DevSecOps and automated validation in pipelines.
