Job summary

Senior Helpers of Western Cuyahoga & Lorain Counties is seeking trusted caregivers to help seniors remain safe and comfortable in their own homes.

We offer flexible Full-Time and Part-Time schedules with mornings and weekends available, plus paid orientation and ongoing training to support your success in caregiving.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality.
• Proven reliability and punctuality are essential.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred.
• Ability to pass background check, motor vehicle check, and drug screening.
• Caregiving experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Support mobility, transfers, and fall prevention.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding if needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Monitor and report changes in client condition.
• Accurately document care provided.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and office staff.
• Accompany clients to appointments or errands when needed.

Pay Rates

• Standard Pay: $16 - $20 per hour
• Weekend Premium Pay Shift added
