Senior Helpers of West Cuyahoga & Lorain Counties is seeking dependable caregivers to help seniors remain safe and comfortable at home.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality.
• Proven reliability and punctuality are essential.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred.
• Ability to pass background check, motor vehicle check, and drug screening.
• Caregiving experience preferred but not required but must be willing and able to perform all responsibilities noted above.
• Parkinson’s and Dementia care experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, personal hygiene, dressing and grooming, toileting and adult diapering.
• Support mobility, transfers, and fall prevention.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare meals.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Monitor and report changes in client condition and accurately document care provided.
• Communicate effectively with client and office staff.

Pay Rates

• Weekly Pay:$17-$19/hr. (plus Weekend Premium)
