Breads Bakery, a New York-based bakery, is seeking passionate bakers to join our team and craft handmade breads and pastries using traditional techniques. This role involves production duties across scaling, mixing, shaping, proofing and baking in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• One year of professional bread making experience.
• Education in culinary arts or bread making preferred but not required.
• Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work on a team or independently.
• Able to work early mornings, holidays and weekends.
• Physically capable of standing and lifting 50+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist production including scaling, mixing, shaping, proofing and baking.
• Maintain inventory and quality, adjust workflow to daily needs.
• Keep workspace clean, safe and sanitary per guidelines.
• Follow instructions from managers and supervisors.
• Aim for consistent, high-quality products and escalate concerns.
• Support a positive work environment and uphold company values.
