Job summary

Bridgewell is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Massachusetts to support individuals with developmental, physical, and psychiatric disabilities in residential and community settings. The role focuses on daily living skills, supervision, and behavioral support as needed, with specialized training and certifications.

Shifts include overnight and weekend hours (Sunday 11:00pm–9:00am, Friday 5:00pm–11:00pm, Saturday 3:00pm–11:00pm), totaling 24 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Computer literacy to include Microsoft Office and web-based applications used by the agency.
• Ability to drive a large wheelchair van with a valid US driver's license and at least one year of driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and skills training in activities of daily living.
• Help individuals develop independence and decision-making.
• Follow regulatory standards and Bridgewell policies.
• Transport and accompany individuals to activities and appointments.
• Maintain daily progress notes and shift documentation.
• Perform household cleaning duties as assigned.
• Adhere to safety and training requirements.
