LPL Financial is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Technology to lead technology teams, drive modernization, and partner with business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure solutions across the organization.

This role emphasizes building high‑performing teams, overseeing software development, operations, and governance while promoting AI‑enabled productivity and strong cybersecurity and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of progressive technology experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
Experience leading technology projects, teams, and delivery initiatives.
Experience with SDLC methodologies and modern technology delivery practices.
Experience utilizing cloud technologies and data platforms within a technology organization.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop technology professionals in a collaborative, high‑performing team.
Oversee design, development, deployment, maintenance, and support of technology solutions and enterprise applications.
Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions and priorities.
Manage project delivery, including planning, resource allocation, risk mitigation, budgeting, and execution oversight.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions to improve efficiency, scalability, security, and ops reliability.
Ensure compliance with governance standards, cybersecurity, regulatory obligations, and policies.
