Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree helpful.
• 8+ years of progressive financial aid / student financial services experience, including leadership responsibility.
• Knowledge of financial aid and state aid compliance.
• Deep knowledge of and experience with federal student aid processing and reporting.
• Familiarity with student information systems.
• Experience designing internal controls, billing policies, and understanding of receivables.
• Aptitude for resolution regarding student accounts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the AVP's team within Student Financial Services.
• Strengthen processes and implement improvements to financial aid operations.
• Collaborate on enrollment growth strategies and manage discount rate reductions over 3–5 years.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional policies and data filing.
• Partner with enrollment leadership to stabilize net tuition revenue.
