Job summary

Wittenberg University seeks an experienced Associate Vice President for Student Financial Services to lead the new division combining financial aid and student accounts. The AVP reports to the VP of Enrollment and will build and guide a high-performing team focused on stability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree helpful.
• 8+ years of progressive financial aid / student financial services experience, including leadership responsibility.
• Knowledge in financial aid and state aid compliance; deep understanding of federal student aid processing and reporting.
• Familiarity with student information systems.
• Experience designing internal controls and billing policies; understanding of receivables.
• Aptitude for resolution regarding student accounts.

Responsibilities

• Lead the newly reorganized Student Financial Services function and build a team.
• Strengthen financial aid processes to support enrollment growth and manage discount rate targets.
• Ensure state compliance and data filing to the federal student aid site.
