Wittenberg University seeks an experienced, competent, and enthusiastic leader to serve as its Associate Vice President (AVP) for Student Financial Services. This is a newly reorganized position that includes financial aid and student accounts. The AVP is part of an enrollment management leadership team of four including the director of admission, the assistant vice president for strategy and operations, and the assistant director of campus visit experience. The new AVP should be entrepreneurial in nature and excited to build his or her own team.
A key priority for the AVP will be to strengthen the team and improve financial aid processes in an effort to appropriately grow new student enrollment. Additionally, the candidate will work to maintain stable NTR and reduce discount rate in a period of three to five years. The candidate must come with an understanding of state compliance and experience in data filing to the federal student aid site.

The AVP will report directly to the Vice President of Enrollment, Mike Brown, who recently completed his first year at Wittenberg. With over 20 years of higher education experience and three prior VP roles, he is excited to partner with the new AVP in bringing stability to Wittenberg’s student financial services and in building a strong, positive team.
