Job summary

Moody's Corporation is seeking a seasoned credit analyst to lead ratings for fund finance transactions in North America. You will drive analytical excellence, apply Moody's methodologies, and engage with sponsors, lenders, and market participants to advance ratings quality and market insight.

You will also mentor junior analysts, participate in committees, and contribute to AI-enhanced processes and external thought leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 5+ years of credit/risk assessment experience in fund finance or asset management.
• Strong communication and analytical skills; proficient in financial modeling.

Responsibilities

• Lead credit analysis and assign ratings to fund finance transactions.
• Ensure rating accuracy and apply Moody's methodologies consistently.
• Participate in Rating Committees and develop market insights.
• Build relationships with fund sponsors, lenders, and arrangers.
• Represent Moody's at industry events and author sector insights.
• Support external engagement and respond to investor inquiries.
• Contribute to methodology and technology projects, using AI tools.
• Mentor junior analysts and develop credit skills.
