Job summary

WSP USA seeks an Assistant Vice President, Structural Engineer to join the structural engineering practice in Portland, Maine. The role leads multidisciplinary teams from concept through construction documents and includes client communication and guidance to junior staff.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience, PE registration, and expertise with STAAD Pro, ETABS, RISA, and AutoCAD/REVIT, combined with strong leadership and mentoring abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer registration in the U.S.
• 10+ years of relevant structural engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers and designers on structural design from concept to construction documents.
• Communicate with clients to understand project requirements.
• Develop calculation packages and structural models.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
• Ensure project delivery standards and quality.
