Job summary

Greenfield Savings Bank is seeking a Retail Sales & Development Officer to lead deposit growth, drive retail sales, and enhance the customer experience. You will partner with branch leadership to train and mentor staff and to foster a solutions-based, customer-centric sales culture.

You will serve as a key number two to the VP of Retail, accountable for achieving all retail sales goals and coaching teams across locations. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of Management experience – preferably in the Retail Banking space.
• 4-5 years of experience in a sales environment with a solid track record
• 2-3 years of financial services experience
• 2-3 years of training experience
• Proven track record of implementing successful new programs
• Great interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills
• Organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Able to travel freely, without restriction, in Franklin & Hampshire counties (about 50% local travel)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with VP, Retail and branch leadership to set and review sales goals.
• Reviews goals monthly with VP, Retail and branch leadership.
• Accountable to specific performance targets, including retail deposit growth and other metrics.
• Strategizes with Retail Leadership on methods to drive sales in the department.
• Direct reports may be assigned with sales and training responsibilities.
• Creates and implements engaging ways to drive sales: contests, promotions, etc.
• Trains, mentors, and coaches staff to ensure superior customer service while balancing risk and regulatory requirements.
• Will work with Retail staff and provide training, guidance, and feedback to aid in achieving goals.
• Promotes a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
