Job summary

Everest is seeking an AVP, Senior Reserving Actuary to lead actuarial reserving analyses for multiple P&C lines. You will evaluate reserve adequacy, support financial reporting, and partner with Finance, Claims, Underwriting and Reinsurance to drive profitability and risk management.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in actuarial reserving, ACAS designation, and advanced skills in ResQ, Arius, SAS, and R. Excellent communication with executives is essential.

Qualifications

• ACAS designation and 10+ years in actuarial reserving for P&C lines.
• Deep understanding of U.S. P&C reserving methodologies and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead quarterly and annual loss and LAE reserve analyses for P&C lines.
• Assess reserve adequacy using loss development, tail factors, and exposure changes.
• Prepare documentation for management reviews and external audits.
• Collaborate with Finance, Claims, Underwriting, and Reinsurance on reserves.
• Drive reserving process improvements and automation initiatives.
