Job summary

Insure National seeks an experienced P&C Actuary with a strong reserving background to lead quarterly reserve analysis across commercial and specialty lines. The role combines technical actuarial work, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will mentor colleagues, partner with actuarial, claims, underwriting, risk, and finance teams, and apply reserving bases such as Ultimate, GAAP, SII, IFRS, and US Situs to improve processes and analytics.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of P&C actuarial experience with a strong reserving focus.
• ACAS required; FCAS preferred or near completion
• Commercial and/or specialty lines experience; Specialty Lines and/or Marine a plus
• Strong technical reserving knowledge and sound actuarial judgment
• Advanced Excel/data modeling skills; SQL and/or Python preferred
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Lead quarterly technical reserve analysis across multiple lines
• Analyze and reconcile large datasets; assess data quality and limitations
• Evaluate reserve movements, trends, assumptions, and key uncertainties
• Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
• Support reserve governance and financial reporting
• Apply reserving bases including Ultimate, GAAP, SII, IFRS, and US Situs
• Improve reserving processes, tools, and analytics
• Partner with Actuarial, Claims, Underwriting, Risk, and Finance teams
• Mentor and support actuarial colleagues
