Job summary

Everest Global Services, Inc. seeks a VP, Head of Actuarial Reserving Governance to lead the reserving governance framework across the function in Warren, NJ.

You will partner with Finance, Risk, and Audit to ensure controls, documentation, and compliance while promoting best practices. This senior role requires 10+ years of actuarial or related experience and strong governance, controls, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of actuarial or related experience, with exposure to reserving.
• Strong understanding of governance, controls, and documentation requirements.
• Experience with SOX controls and audit processes.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Governance Framework Execution: Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the reserving governance framework.
• Documentation & Policy Management: Lead the development and maintenance of documentation for reserving methodologies, assumptions, and processes.
• Controls & Compliance: Oversee execution and testing of controls related to reserving; coordinate with Finance and Internal Audit.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Work with Actuarial, Finance, Risk, and Audit teams to ensure alignment and compliance.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to strengthen controls, improve documentation, and enhance governance processes.
