Job summary

Apex Group Ltd is seeking an Assistant Vice President for Real Assets Fund Accounting in the Dallas area. You will review journal entries for real estate private equity funds and track capital calls and distributions.

The role requires 5+ years of PE experience, strong communication, and a professional accounting degree (CPA a plus). You will coordinate with clients, auditors and tax providers, and supervise junior staff as needed.

Qualifications

• CPA a plus
• 5+ years of relevant Private Equity experience in fund administration, fund, or audit
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Detail oriented and organized
• Flexible in adjusting to changing priorities
• Experience supervising junior staff

Responsibilities

• Review daily journal entries for real estate private equity funds, incl. accruals
• Track capital calls and distributions to investors
• Prepare/Review monthly and quarterly trial balance workpapers
• Prepare/Review financial statements and partner capital statements
• Assist with ad-hoc reporting and investor requests
• Assist onboarding of new entities, investments, and investors in accounting system
• Coordinate between client, auditors, and tax providers to close year-end
