EisnerAmper in New York seeks an Assistant Vice President to join the Real Estate Systems Implementation Group (RESIG), the largest real estate private equity fund administrator by funds administered. The role centers on leading a major SEC-listed REIT initiative and managing client deliverables with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of fund accounting, REIT experience, and strong financial statement preparation skills.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent field is required.
• 5+ years of fund accounting experience, including experience with REITs and/or real estate private equity funds.
• Financial statement preparation experience.

Aufgaben

• Build from the ground up a major SEC listed non-traded REIT.
• Build and maintain relationships with one or more clients, managing client expectations, and meeting all client deliverables.
• Manage and review the daily cash, accounting and financial reporting for the REIT.
• Prepare and review financial statements including but not limited to balance sheet, income statement, stockholder equity, statement of cash flows.
• Prepare and review general ledger and work paper files including capital activity, investment activity, income, and expense accruals, etc.
• Preparation and review of the day-to-day operations of the REIT.
• Preparation of required monthly share class pricing.
• Help manage quarterly, year-end audit process and support external auditors and tax teams with requested financials.
