Job summary

Voya Financial, Inc. is seeking a Senior Private Credit Analyst to source and manage asset-based finance investments across the full lifecycle. You will evaluate, underwrite, and execute opportunities, lead due diligence, and develop financial models to support investment decisions.

The role emphasizes credit analysis, structured finance expertise, and collaboration with portfolio management and legal teams. A CFA or similar credentials plus 3–5 years in capital markets is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; CFA designation or equivalent preferred.
• 3–5 years in capital markets at a bank/asset manager/buy-side; structured/asset-based finance experience required.
• Proven credit analysis skills and ability to assess risk in asset-backed/structured finance.
• Advanced data analysis and modeling; Excel-based cash flow and scenario modeling; Python preferred.
• Knowledge of transaction docs, covenants, protections, and creditor remedies.
• Strong written and verbal communication for senior stakeholders.
• Proficiency with AI-enabled tools in investment analysis with governance.

Responsibilities

• Source and manage asset-based finance investments through full lifecycle.
• Evaluate private credit and structured finance opportunities and lead due diligence.
• Develop financial models and present investment recommendations to committees.
• Monitor credit quality and deal compliance; coordinate with borrowers, sponsors, and advisors.
• Maintain investment records and support portfolio management activities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve monitoring tools and reporting.
