Morningstar DBRS is seeking an Assistant Vice President to join its Private Corporate Credit team. You will lead the ongoing surveillance of a portfolio of highly leveraged companies, perform fundamental credit analysis, and develop well-supported recommendations for rating committees.

You will prepare comprehensive reports, monitor performance and market trends, and communicate credit views to senior management and external stakeholders while collaborating with senior analysts in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Four to six years of corporate credit analysis experience.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or related discipline.
• Strong credit analysis, cash flow modeling, and leverage assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead ongoing credit surveillance of a portfolio of small to medium-sized, highly leveraged companies across various industries.
• Prepare rating committee materials and communicate credit recommendations clearly.
• Produce timely written credit reports and research articulating fundamentals and risks.
• Monitor industry developments and market trends to identify emerging risks.
• Engage with lenders, investors, and bankers to support analysis and market intelligence.
