Morningstar DBRS is seeking an Assistant Vice President to join its Private Corporate Credit team. You will lead ongoing surveillance of a portfolio of small-to-medium, highly leveraged companies and prepare rating committee materials that clearly articulate credit fundamentals and risks.

You will work with senior analysts to develop well-supported credit recommendations, engage with lenders and investors, and contribute to continuous improvement of analytical workflows.

Qualifikationen

• Four to six years of relevant experience in corporate credit analysis, leveraged finance, corporate lending, or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related discipline. CFA designation is preferred.
• Strong fundamental credit analysis skills, including financial statement analysis, cash flow modeling, leverage assessment, and evaluating corporate credit risk.
• Solid understanding of corporate debt and capital markets, including high-yield bonds and leveraged loans.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present to internal and external stakeholders.

• Conduct fundamental credit analysis including financial statement analysis, cash flow assessment, leverage evaluation, and identify key credit risks.
• Prepare rating committee materials and develop well-supported credit recommendations.
• Produce timely, high-quality written credit reports and research with clear articulation of credit fundamentals and risks.
• Monitor financial performance and market trends to identify emerging risks and changes in credit quality.
• Build relationships with lenders, investors, and bankers to support credit analysis and market intelligence.
• Manage a diverse portfolio of credits with timely reviews and adherence to methodologies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in analytical workflows and data management.
