Job summary

Voya Investment Management is seeking an experienced investment professional to source and manage asset-based finance investments across the full lifecycle. You will evaluate, underwrite, and execute private credit and structured finance opportunities, lead due diligence, and develop robust financial models to support underwriting decisions.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree; CFA Designation or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of capital markets experience at an investment bank, asset manager, or buy-side institution; specific experience in structured finance and asset-based finance is required.
• Demonstrated credit analysis skills, including the ability to assess the creditworthiness, structure, investment merits and key risks of asset-based and structured finance transactions.
• Advanced data analysis and structured finance modeling skills are essential, including Excel-based cash flow and scenario modeling; Python programming experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Source and manage asset-based finance investments across the full investment lifecycle.
• Evaluate, underwrite, and execute private credit, structured finance, and alternative opportunities.
• Lead due diligence and execution, coordinating with issuers and advisors to close transactions.
• Develop and analyze financial models, including cash flow forecasts and sensitivity analyses.
• Present investment recommendations to senior members of the Private Credit group and Investment Committee.
• Monitor credit quality and performance of assets; maintain ongoing communications with borrowers and sponsors.
• Collaborate with Portfolio Management, Operations and Technology to improve reporting and controls.
