Morningstar DBRS is seeking an Assistant Vice President to lead ongoing credit surveillance and fundamental credit analysis for small to mid-sized, highly leveraged companies across diverse industries. You will prepare rating committee materials and articulate credit conclusions with senior analysts.

You will engage with lenders, investors, and bankers while maintaining rigorous methodologies and contributing to continuous improvements in research workflows within our Private Corporate Credit

Qualifications

• Four to six years of relevant experience in corporate credit analysis, leveraged finance, corporate lending, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or related discipline; CFA designation preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead ongoing credit surveillance of a portfolio of small to medium-sized, highly leveraged companies across industries.
• Conduct fundamental credit analysis including financial statement analysis, cash flow assessment, leverage evaluation, and key risk identification.
• Prepare rating committee materials and lead discussions to communicate analytical conclusions and credit views.
• Produce timely, high-quality written credit reports and research articulating credit fundamentals and risks.
• Monitor industry developments and market trends to identify emerging risks and changes in credit quality.
• Build relationships with lenders, investors, and bankers to support credit analysis and market intelligence.
