Job summary

Arch Insurance Group Inc. is seeking an Assistant Vice President within Arch Construction to lead technical underwriting and account management for Middle Market construction casualty programs. The role focuses on pricing, risk assessment, and coordinating with risk engineering and claims.

You will develop relationships with agencies and insureds, drive submissions, and deliver effective account service plans while managing post-bind activities and renewals to support retention and profitability.

Qualifications

• Ten years of casualty underwriting experience with construction focus preferred.
• Understanding of workers' compensation, general liability, automobile and excess coverage forms.
• Strong cross-functional knowledge across risk control, claims and finance.

Responsibilities

• Underwrites and prices casualty risks for construction programs.
• Solicits and reviews new and renewal information for risk evaluation.
• Coordinates administrative duties related to existing and prospective accounts.
• Manages pre-renewal reviews and renewal processes to hit retention and rate goals.
• Develops and maintains broker and insured relationships to generate submissions.
