Job summary

Arch Insurance Group Inc. is seeking an Assistant Vice President for Construction casualty underwriting and account management.

The role focuses on technical underwriting, pricing, and coordination of pre-renewal and renewal activities within Middle Market construction programs. You will develop agency relationships, drive submissions, and manage end-to-end policy processes while meeting retention and profitability targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent training required.
• CPCU or CRIS designation a plus.
• Ten (10) years of Casualty underwriting experience with Construction underwriting experience preferred.
• Established broker relationships within the region would be ideal.

Responsibilities

• Technical Underwriting of Middle Market construction casualty programs.
• Solicits and reviews new and renewal account information to evaluate a risk.
• Underwrites, prices and prepares casualty quote proposals based on risk characteristics.
• Accounts management: post-bind activities, compliance, audits and adjustments.
• Develops and maintains relationships with key agency personnel to generate submissions.
• Leads and coordinates administrative duties related to accounts.
