Job summary

Arch Insurance Group Inc. seeks an experienced Assistant Vice President for the Construction practice to handle technical underwriting and active account management of middle market construction casualty programs.

You will price, quote and coordinate with Risk Engineering, Claims, and producers to deliver robust client service and strategy. The role emphasizes strong relationship building, strategic planning for agency collaboration, and efficient handling of renewals and administrative tasks

Qualifications

• Understanding of Workers Compensation, GL, Auto, and Excess coverage forms.
• Knowledge of risk identification, exposure analysis, and underwriting basics.
• Cross-functional understanding of claims, risk control, finance and legal.

Responsibilities

• Technical underwriting and pricing of casualty quotes for Middle Market construction programs.
• Solicit and review account information; present final quotations to producers/insureds.
• Coordinate policy file documentation and administrative duties.
• Manage post-bind activities, renewals, and customer service plans.
• Develop agency relationships to generate submissions and maintain pipeline.
