Job summary

Lake Trust Credit Union in the Town of Brighton, NY, seeks an AVP, Lending Systems to lead strategic initiatives, optimize lending platforms, and drive enterprise-wide project delivery. The role partners across Lending, Technology, and business units to enhance member experience and operational efficiency.

Ideal candidate has 7+ years in lending/financial services, strong leadership, and a track record delivering complex systems projects using agile and waterfall methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, finance, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years in Lending, financial services operations, project management, or systems leadership.
• 5+ years of people leadership, developing high performing teams.
• Experience implementing major systems, leading process improvement programs, or delivering enterprise level projects.
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies; PMP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the strategic roadmap for Lending systems, processes, and efficiency initiatives.
• Provide strong leadership to a team of project and process improvement professionals.
• Serve as the primary liaison between Lending, Technology, and enterprise business units.
• Champion a member-centered approach in all Lending system enhancements.
• Represent Lending on enterprise committees and strategic initiatives.
• Lead the planning, prioritization, and execution of Lending related projects.
• Facilitate scope definition, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
