Job summary

Aon is seeking an Assistant Vice President/Broker II for the Financial Services Group. This hybrid Denver-based role involves designing risk solutions, marketing and servicing insurance programs for large global clients. The AVP will lead client relationships, negotiate with carriers and coordinate with teams to meet client objectives.

The role emphasizes senior market relationships, leadership of junior staff, and development of the book of business while operating in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent years of proven experience.
• Minimum of 5+ years in financial lines insurance brokerage and/or underwriting.
• Must maintain appropriate broker’s license.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Assess client needs, design solutions and negotiate with carriers for optimal coverage.
• Develop and lead client relationships, strategies and insurance marketing for the book of business.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver client needs and growth.
• Identify client exposures and develop risk treatment and placement strategies.
• Provide guidance to junior staff and support team in client solicitation and servicing.
